My Gear

Here are some pictures of my guitars, these images are quite large, so let them load:

1990 Rickenbacker 360.  Purchased in 1998.  Strung with Webstrings .012-.052.  Tuned to E.  My favorite guitar.  Just don't ask me to bend any notes on the 3rd  or lower strings.

1969 Gibson SG Special.  Purchased in 2000.  Strung with Webstrings .011-.050.  Strings aren't attached to the vibrato unit.  Sounds like the Who.  It's got this thin, yet chunky neck which feels amazing.

2001 Paul Reed Smith Singlecut.  Purchased in 2004, unsold previously.  I traded in 2 Mesa/Boogie amps to get this.  It's now my main axe.  Some think that PRS guitars are overrated and overpriced, they just haven't played one.  A good number of them are cheaper than a Gibson Les Paul, and sound alot nicer.  The neck shape is very comfortable, it was slightly wider than I was used to, but it was easy to get comfortable with.  This is strung with Webstrings .010-.046.

Shown beside my Singlecut is a 2002 PRS Santana SE.  These are way nicer than any other Korean guitar you'll find.  I've done a little work on mine.  It's got real PRS strap buttons and the Bridge pickup is a Santana III.  I plan on putting a PRS Archtop bass pickup and a set of PRS locking tuners on there.  As for the body construction itself--top notch all the way.  The neck shape feels just like the wide/fat neck of the Singlecut.  This too is strung with Webstrings .010-.046.
